The epiphytic mosses and lichens in the southern Black Forest, Germany, as influenced by climate and management

Summary

The epiphytic flora on beech and spruce stems varies with climate and the management of the surrounding stand. This study involves the analysis of these interactions on the basis of a large scale gradient between the Black Forest and the Schwaebischen Alb, as well as stand structure differences resulting from management type.
