The Chair of Site Classification and Vegetation Science is concerned with the interaction between site, land use and vegetation in forest ecosystems in particular. The scientifical analysis are used for assessments and recommendations on nature conservation, silviculture and landscape managment. Prof. Dr. Dr. hc. Albert Reif is retired since 9/2018.
