The influence of agroforestry on vegetation and the landscape in Vikos-Aoos National Park, north eastern Greece
Summary
The history of agroforestry in the area now designated the Vikos-Aoos National Park has moulded the structures and plant associations of the landscape. This study involves an analysis of the vegetation of this cultural landscape using the village Vikos as an example and a discussion of the consequences of the cessation of agricultural utilisation.
